What's New in Homebuilding Seminar: Advice from the technology experts
Technology experts from the Greater Vancouver Home Builders' Association (GVHBA), in partnership with Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation, (CMHC), present What’s New in Homebuilding, a workshop for people contemplating having a custom home built for them.
The popular full-day workshop is held three times a year.

“Topics will be discussed in an interactive classroom format. Also, lots of printed material on newly developed products and services will be available free at the workshop,” said Kadulski.
Workshop topics include:
o Principles of durable building envelope construction o Healthy housing tips for superior indoor air quality o Ventilation systems o Energy-efficient and green construction practices o How energy choices affect costs
Cost is $60 + GST per person or $100 + GST per couple, and includes lunch and coffee breaks. To encourage productive interaction between presenters and participants, registration is limited to 50 people. Pre-registration is required.
Spring 2008 dates are currently being planned. If you wish to be contacted when the seminars are scheduled, please call GVHBA at 604-588-5036 and you will be added to the waiting list.
