Vancouver Mayor’s thirst to be first 

Vancouver Mayor Gregor Robertson wants Lotusland-by-the-Sea to be the greenest city in the world by 2020.

Problem is, in his relentless sprint to the finish line – with little regard to the costs and consequences of his actions, by the way – the mayor seems to be placing his initiatives in first place when only runner-up status is warranted.
