These committees serve the needs of various sectors of GVHBA membership, the industry, and the general public. For more information please feel free to contact the committee chair.

Education & Training Committee
The Education Committee serves both the general public and GVHBA members. It develops and delivers a wide range of member certification courses, building industry workshops, and consumer information seminars.

Membership Committee
The Membership Committee serves the needs of all GVHBA members. It develops strategies to retain members, to help members utilize the many benefits of GVHBA, and to work with staff to recruit new members.

Social Committee
The Social Committee provides opportunities for all GVHBA members to participate in social and networking events. Activities such as monthly dinner meetings, or annual golf tournaments and Coats For Kids Campaign are held regularly to provide members with places to meet each other, or raise funds for worthy community causes.

Technical Committee
The Technical Committee provides a forum for discussion of technical problems, new products and evolving building technology. It serves both GVHBA members and the general public by addressing their technical information requests and the delivery of technical industry workshops and consumer seminars.

Renovation Council
The Renovation Council provides a forum for renovator members of GVHBA to address issues, exchange ideas, share resources, and generate more business. Through Council meetings, Home Shows, Parades of Renovated Homes, community service projects, and consumer seminars it increases their visibility in the marketplace and help inform the public about professional renovators.

Suppliers Council
The Suppliers Council provides a forum for supplier members of GVHBA to address issues, exchange ideas and share resources with all members.  The council meets at the end of each month and has launched the "Supplier Alert" and "Builder Bulletin".
